Engine cover came off the #66 (which had just come out of the garage for turbo repairs) halfway through Radillon causing it to spin and hit the wall at the top of the hill hard. Car is completely destroyed. Driver reported by team to be ok except for a possible leg injury.

EDIT: Better Video

I have the sound turned down so I didn’t hear that it was the body work coming off. I thought maybe the left rear tire let go. So I guess maybe something didn’t get attached correctly after the turbo issue?

If you notice the cover comes flying off as the car begins to rotate. The slightest change in the Aero would cause the car to spin.

I think it was more the left rear tire though. The engine cover didn’t start to come off until the spin had been initiated
